One Heart One Voice
Liturgical music is a short response or acclamation. It is an important part of church music and has a great significance in our worship service. It provides greater opportunities and fosters the congregation’s participation in praise, adoration, thanksgiving, confession, petition and intercession, preparing and responding to the Word of God and God’s calling, as well as in our dedication, receiving blessings, and preparing to be sent forth as witnesses for God. Thus, it reinforces, empowers and uplifts our worship, making worship more innovative and vital.
This collection contains works from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Singing liturgical music in diverse musical styles will bring us enormous musical and spiritual experiences that would enrich our worship as well as our spiritual lives. Furthermore, it is also an avenue to do and promote contextual theology.
