Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS) Scholarship
Central Philippine University (CPU) offers the degree of Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS) with Specialization in Theological Librarianship. This is a graduate degree program designed to provide continuing education to current librarians of theological schools in Asia. The purpose of the program is to prepare students for professional leadership in the management and operation of theological libraries. The program also provides students with the advanced knowledge and skills in organizing, retrieving, consolidating and disseminating all types of relevant information in theological libraries.
Twelve (12) students are currently enrolled in the MLIS with Specialization in Theological Librarianship at CPU College of Education Graduate Programs. Aside from its faculty lecturers, CPU also invited one professional librarian from the Philippine Theological Librarians Association this semester.
