ATU COLLOQUIUM 2016

The ATESEA Theological Union (ATU) will hold a Colloquium for its doctoral students and those who are doing their doctoral program in the ATESEA’s Centers for Theological Excellence (CTEs). This will be conducted  on September 4-8, 2016 at Jakarta Theological Seminary in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The participants are expected to:

1. present the progress of their dissertation;
2. identify the areas in their thesis that need improvement;  and,
3. strengthen the relationship among their fellow students and scholars.

Participants must submit a written paper which can be a chapter or a key argument of the thesis on or before August 15 to Dr Ezra Kok, ATU Associate Dean at ezrakok@stm.edu.my.

The following faculty will interact with the students during the Colloquium:  Dr. H.S. Wilson, History of Christianity; Dr. Joas Adiprasetya, Constructive Theology;  Dr. Septemmy Lakawa, Mission and Contextual Theologies and Dr. Ezra Kok, Biblical Studies.

Non-ATU doctoral students who are enrolled in the ATESEA member schools may apply for a 50% travel subsidy.
