The objectives of the visit were: a) to meet with the presidents, faculty members and students of the seminaries; and, b) gather information from conversations with the schools’ representatives on the current directions of the seminaries in the US, their educational offerings and creative ways of dealing with the new landscape of the religious milieu in the West.

Conversely, the ATESEA and the NJUTS representatives shared what they have been doing in their respective areas of work such accreditation, faculty development, conferences for heads of schools among others. They talked about the broad range of opportunities to develop young leaders who will serve the growing number of Christians and churches amidst the political and religious challenges in every country in Asia. Overall, the sharing between the international guests and the seminaries were instructive and encouraging for future collaborative engagements that would be mutually beneficial to all.
