Librarians of the theological schools are given opportunities for professional development through the following programs:

Conference for Theological Librarians (Group Picture)

The participants in this conference will be able to:

a. acquire skills in organizing information resources and implementing the standardization of access and retrieval of library collection;
b. identify and describe the effective strategies of managing the theological library;
c. articulate and demonstrate skills in preserving and conserving Asian resources and the use of Information Technology in library resources; and,
d. establish a list of contacts of librarians and partners within and outside Asia.

The MLIS in TL is a two-year graduate degree program designed to prepare theology librarians with strong background in both theory and practice necessary to build theological libraries. This program will also equip them with advanced knowledge and skills in librarianship as required by the changing environment of the library and information profession.
